Digitizing 3D Post-Printing to Enable Additive Manufacturing at Scale

Nathan Harris (Head of Americas, PostProcess Technologies Inc.)

Location: 208B

Date: Wednesday, February 6

Time: 4:45pm - 5:30pm

Track: 3D Printing Innovation Summit

Vault Recording: TBD

With the forecasted exponential growth of the industrial 3D Printing industry comes challenges for the market to scale to achieve its full potential. One of these challenges is the bottleneck in post-processing as a result of methods adopted while the market was still in its infancy. These approaches, including manual labor and traditional finishing machinery, are proving to hinder scale-up to production volumes as they result in high breakage, low throughput, and inconsistent quality. This session will:

  • Outline the benefits of automated post printing to complete the digital thread connecting 3D parts through design, print, and post-print.
  • Give first mover insight into the only automated software solution for all print technologies.
  • Explain the financial impact and advantages of additive manufacturing increased with post-print automation.
