Adoption of advanced combinatorial technologies in medical microelectronics is often necessary to address increased service life, miniaturization, lack of redundancy and functional integration. Assuring reliability of such complex devices requires a rigorous development, manufacturing and monitoring methodology relevant throughout the product lifecycle and, for every diverse component in a system hierarchy. It must also be effective and efficient. Innovative solutions for managing medical microelectronics device reliability can be accomplished using end-to-end advanced reliability methodology (e2ARM).

Topics to be covered include:

  • Deployment of an effective reliability assurance strategy using rigorous design margin assessments and data rich manufacturing
  • Examples using capacitors and frequency devices
  • Efficiencies in development and monitoring seen using custom physical and digital factory automation
