USC’s Liquid Propulsion Laboratory (LPL) has a mission to design, build, and test liquid propellant rocket engines, as well as launch members into successful careers in the space industry. To date, the lab has sent alumni to work at some of the biggest names in aerospace—SpaceX, Northrop Grumman, etc. In this session, we’ll hear about LPL’s current project: using 3-D printing to develop the most powerful student-built engines in the world.
